Job summary
TICO seeks a detail-oriented electrical/mechatronics engineer to join our engineering team, developing and validating control systems for terminal tractor products, including diesel, gas, and BEV variants, while ensuring safety and quality.
You will work with management and senior engineers to design, simulate, test, and calibrate controllers, participate in Lean initiatives, and collaborate with suppliers and production teams to bring prototypes to production.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years in vehicle control development.
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
- Develop controls and mechatronic components for terminal tractor products.
- Verify that controls meet customer demands, safety and regulations.
- Assist design solution selection and component procurement for prototypes.
- Simulate and test control strategies; calibrate closed-loop systems.
- Collaborate with engine/vehicle integration teams and suppliers.
