Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College is seeking an adjunct faculty member to support the Mechatronics Technology program in the Department of Engineering Technology at STCC. Faculty duties include delivering instruction, grading, developing curricula, maintaining FERPA-compliant records, and participating in college activities.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in industrial/ mechanical/ electrical engineering or closely related field.
• Or an associate degree with demonstrated competencies or experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers instruction on Mechatronics Technology.
• Administers, grades, and communicates progress to students.
• Develops curricula and instructional materials such as syllabi and assignments.
• Maintains office hours and assists in recruitment and retention efforts.
• Keeps FERPA-compliant records and attends college/department meetings.
• Keeps abreast of developments in the field and participates in professional activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Department Head/Dean.
