Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking candidates for the Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program within CBRE Global Workplace Solutions. The role trains you to become a Maintenance or Controls Technician and works on material handling equipment for a world-class client, emphasizing safety and career growth.

The program combines 9 weeks of classroom instruction with on-the-job learning to prepare you for a role in maintenance technology and automation within a large-scale operations environment.

Qualifications

• Paid training through the Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program in maintenance technology.
• Exposure to electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to document preventative maintenance routines.
• Ability to collaborate with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc.).
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

About the Role

The Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program offers an extensive paid training in the Maintenance Technical field. Participants seeking an exciting career as a Maintenance or Controls Technician gain valuable skills through a combination of 9 weeks of classroom instruction and on-the-job learning that prepares them to join our account for a world-class leader.
