Job summary

The Pallet Company in West Fargo, ND is seeking a Production Associate with a mechanics background to join our manufacturing team. You will operate machinery, assemble parts, inspect quality, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

Read blueprints or instructions, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain good attendance. Position runs 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime possible; own vehicle required for commuting. Health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401K benefits offered.

The Pallet Company in West Fargo ND is looking for Production/Manufacturing with a mechanics background associates to join our team.

If you have a mechanics background and want to work as a Production Associate, your technical skills can be a strong advantage. Your experience with tools, machinery, troubleshooting, and repairs can transfer well to manufacturing and production jobs.

A Production Associate helps operate machinery, assemble products, inspect parts, and keep production running safely and efficiently.

Typical responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machines and equipment.


• Assemble mechanical parts and components.


• Read technical drawings, blueprints, or work instructions.


• Inspect finished products for quality and defects.


• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.


• Follow workplace safety procedures and meet production targets.

Must be able to accurately read a tape measure, be able to lift safely, and use a nail gun. Have a good attendance record IS A MUST. Hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday thru Friday (AM Shift). Overtime available depending on production schedule.

Employee duties will include, but not limited to working in the saw area, teardown area, pallet machine helper, cleaning up warehouse inside and outside. Follow safety rules. Must be able to lift upwards of 50 POUNDS on a regular basis as well as spend the majority of the day on your feet.

Starting pay DOE and skill level.
