MSS Solutions, LLC is hiring a Welder - Mechanical to support fabrication and field piping projects in Winston-Salem, NC. The role requires proficient pipe welding across MIG, TIG, and Stick, with the ability to read blueprints and follow WPS specifications.

You will operate welding equipment in multiple positions, perform quality checks, and collaborate with teams to ensure safety and efficiency. This is an on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of pipe welding (field) including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
• Must be able to pass an in-house welding test (6G criteria).
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metals components or fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products or pipes.
• Read a Weld Procedure Specification (WPS) to produce a weld according to the requirements of the procedure.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Fabricate and construct piping segments and attach fittings that require field fit-up, erection, and assembly.
