Position: Mechanical Technician / Installer – (Heavy Duty Gas Turbines)

Overview:
We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician / Installer to support installation and commissioning of gas turbines in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. This is a contract role for a major project based in Texas, with a strong focus on mechanical systems and heavy-duty turbine equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute mechanical installation and commissioning of gas turbines
• Perform daily maintenance tasks, including emergency and preventive work
• Use grinders, torches, welders, plasma cutters, pneumatic tools, hoists, and other shop tools with precision
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support repair work as needed
• Follow safety protocols and project timelines

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and field experience
• Hands-on experience with mechanical tools and fabrication equipment
• Installation and commissioning experience, preferably in power generation or industrial settings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Preferred: Experience with 7F Heavy Duty Gas Turbines
