Job summary

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology or related discipline.
  • HS Diploma or GED with technical maintenance experience.
  • Technical certifications in mechanical maintenance preferred.
  • 1–3 years of mechanical maintenance or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.
  • Familiar with preventive maintenance and safety practices.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and production systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs following established procedures.
  • Inspect equipment components for wear, damage, or abnormalities.
  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support equipment installations, modifications, and commissioning activities.
  • Follow all workplace safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Maintain tools, spare parts, and work areas in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist with calibration and testing activities as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance and reliability programs.

  • 1-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic equipment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts in an industrial environment.
