You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment like slitters, extruders, conveyors, winders, and pumps. Candidates should have an associate degree or higher in mechanical maintenance or electro‑mechanic fields, plus relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in mechanical maintenance or electro-mechanical fields or near completion.
• One-year technical diploma in mechanical maintenance plus 2+ years experience.
• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years maintenance/mechanic experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work behaviors and look out for hazards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair and maintain mechanical equipment and systems.
• Machine and fabricate parts.
• Weld, braze, rig and tram equipment and general building repair.
• Recommend equipment improvements to optimize performance and efficiency.

• Document completed work in an electronic logbook.
