LFGroup.ai is seeking a Mechanical Technician to install, maintain and repair cooling and mechanical systems for our data center sites in Washington. This role requires meticulous documentation and capability to work on live facilities across construction and operation phases.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in commercial/industrial HVAC, EPA 608 certification, and ability to read P&ID diagrams. Willingness to travel and work extended hours/weekends is expected.

Qualificações

LFG designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. We are engaging a Mechanical Technician to install, maintain and repair cooling and mechanical systems during construction and operation of our data center sites. Cooling has to run without interruption, so careful, well-documented work is essential.

What you will do

• Install and maintain chillers, air handlers, pumps, cooling towers, piping, valves and controls.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults.
• Assist with equipment startup and commissioning.
• Monitor water treatment and report readings outside normal limits.
• Carry out work in live facilities under approved written procedures.
• Record completed work in the maintenance system.

Required qualifications

• 4 or more years of commercial or industrial HVAC or mechanical work.
• EPA 608 Universal certification.
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams.
• Familiarity with building management systems.
• Any state license or certification required for the work performed.

Preferred qualifications

• Data center or other critical facility experience.
• Experience with large chilled water plants.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Additional Requirements

• Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
• Must be willing to travel to other LFG locations
• On site at construction sites and operating facilities, including rooftops and mechanical yards
• Climbing ladders, working at heights, lifting up to 50 pounds and wearing protective equipment

Pay Range:
$55.00 - $85.00 per hour
