Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent Furniture Manufacturer in the Denton, NC area, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Technician to join our team for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The role focuses on engineering support, fabrication planning, and production coordination to ensure quality manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has at least three years' experience interpreting technical drawings, creating manufacturing layouts, and managing BOMs, with AutoCAD experience required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience interpreting technical drawings.
• At least 3 years of experience creating manufacturing layouts.
• At least 3 years of experience managing BOMs.
• At least 1 year of AutoCAD experience.
• Experience supporting fabrication processes.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for fabrication planning and process improvement.
• Coordinate production to ensure high-quality manufactured products.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop effective fabrication strategies.
• Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines in Excel.
