Job summary

PR ACQUIREZ PRIVATE LIMITED in Minot, ND is seeking a Mechanical Technician for a 12‑month assignment to ensure on-time delivery of equipment and support maintenance activities. You will work with basic hand tools, pneumatic equipment, and standard work processes, logging materials and labor in TLM systems and helping reduce downtime. Strong practical aptitude and a collaborative, safety-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with prior hands-on experience (any industry).
• Experience working with tools, equipment, or machinery (e.g., construction, mechanic roles, military)
• Proficiency using basic and pneumatic hand tools
• Basic computer skills (iPad, laptop, Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands.
• Improve maintenance related nonproductive time ratio and enhance maintenance efficiency.
• Maintain assigned equipment according to maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategy.
• Record materials, labor costs and equipment maintenance performance in TLM systems (work orders, parts used, time).
• Comply with TLM Product Line standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in failure investigations and contribute to asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).

Job Description:

• The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands.
• The Mechanical Technician improves maintenance related nonproductive time ratio of the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base (MB) and improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity.
• Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and compliant with the reliability cantered maintenance strategy through adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work.
• Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials and supplies, labor costs and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts used and time to maintain.
• Comply with TLM Product Line standards. Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives and improvement plans within the MB to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve asset turnaround time, which includes reducing downtime due to maintenance, parts and repair authorization numbers, failures and work-in-process.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
• Implement CoSD projects, such as the planned repair and reuse of parts.
• Participate in failure investigations as assigned.Comply with the TLM Competency Management System.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Mechanical aptitude with prior hands-on experience (any industry)
• Experience working with tools, equipment, or machinery (e.g., construction, mechanic roles, military)
• Proficiency using basic and pneumatic hand tools

Preferred:

• Experience with hydraulic systems and pressurized equipment
• Oil & gas or related industry experience
• Inspection experience (e.g., NDE inspector background)
