Allegiance Staffing is seeking a qualified Mechanical Technician for the Dewey Plant in Inman, SC. The ideal candidate will inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment, applying knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation systems to maintain equipment reliability and safety.

This full-time role offers starting pay of $24.26 per hour plus a 7.7% shift premium for meeting perfect attendance, on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule four days on and four days off,

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, instrumentation, or mechanical systems.
• Two years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, or qualifying boiler systems experience; or related certificate/degree.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, four days on and four days off.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to call-ins when needed.
• Ability to follow safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, tools, machinery, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve mechanical problems and assist manufacturing personnel with process-related issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and develop new preventive maintenance procedures as needed.
• Assist with machinery installation, equipment relocation, machine moves, and plant rearrangements.
• Follow and implement all applicable safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders in the CMMS, MAINTelligence .
• Communicate maintenance updates and provide feedback to planning and scheduling teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Train other Engineering Services associates individually or in group settings as needed.
• Collaborate with the Planning and Scheduling team to develop and improve maintenance job plans.
• Lead small teams during complex maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.

Shift Premium: Additional 7.7% shift premium for employees who meet the perfect-attendance requirement for the week
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, four days on and four days off, similar to the Chemical Operator schedule. On-call rotation may also be required.

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and dependable Mechanical Technician to join our manufacturing team at the Dewey Plant in Inman, SC. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation systems and the ability to inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment. This role is essential to maintaining equipment reliability, improving production efficiency, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

This is a full-time position offering a starting pay rate of $24.26 per hour, plus a potential 7.7% shift premium for employees who meet the weekly perfect-attendance requirement. The position follows a 12-hour rotating shift schedule of four days on and four days off, with participation in an on-call rotation as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical, instrumentation, or mechanical systems.
• Minimum of two years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, or qualifying boiler systems experience; alternatively, completion of a technical certificate or associate degree in electrical engineering, electrical systems, mechatronics, instrumentation, or a related field.
• Willingness to work a 12- hour rotating shift schedule, four days on and four days off.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to call-ins when needed.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification.
• NFPA 70E certification.
• Experience with machinery alignment, including laser alignment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience leading maintenance projects or assisting with equipment installations and repairs.
