Job summary

Classic Collision in Georgia is seeking a skilled auto technician to join our team. You will examine vehicles for damage, perform diagnostics, and repair braking, engine and suspension components while ensuring safety and quality standards.

We value integrity, teamwork, and customer service. As part of a fast-growing shop, you will use diagnostic equipment, test post-repair performance, and contribute to safe, reliable vehicle repairs for our customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Advance understanding of repair procedures.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for company insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Examines vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
• Test drives vehicles and diagnoses components with diagnostic equipment.
• Repairs, aligns, replaces and adjusts brake systems and related components.
• Tests and adjusts repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Repairs or replaces engine components, brakes, steering and air bag systems.
• Performs related duties to ensure efficient and effective repair.

Responsibilities

• Examines vehicles to determine extend of damage or malfunctions.
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using equipment such as computerized diagnostic devices.
• May repair, align, replace, and adjust brake systems and perform vehicle alignments.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
• Repair and/or replace engine components, brake systems, steering and air bag systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective repair.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Advance understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under company insurance policy.
• Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
• Organization and multi-tasking skills, good time management, and the ability to adapt easily to fast-paced environment.
• ASE Certification preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, and is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk occasionally for long periods at a time.
