CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet our safety and reliability standards. You will work in a modern, climate-controlled facility with ongoing training and advanced tools as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE certifications in Steering/Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), HVAC (A7), Electrical (A6), Engine Repair (A1), M/D Trains (A3), Engine (A8), Auto Trans (A2) when required.
