Job summary

Summit Wash Holdings is seeking detail-oriented Mechanical Technicians to maintain car wash facilities and equipment, ensuring pristine operation. You will address plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to keep systems running smoothly in the Orlando area.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of plumbing, electrical and commercial building maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of single phase and three phase high voltage.
• Completes preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems.
• Follow diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and testing instruments.
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists and hand and power tools.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
• On-call shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• 5 - 10 years of plumbing, electrical and commercial building maintenance experience

• Completes preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems
• Follow diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices - using hoists and hand and power tools
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools.
• Controls downtime by informing workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned

General Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED – Trade License Preferred
• Valid Drivers License
• Willing to work early mornings, evenings and weekends
• Intermediate Computer Skills
• Self-motivated
• Mechanical aptitude or knowledge a must
• On-call Shifts as needed
• Electrical and plumbing aptitude
• Must have your own means of transportation

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Ability to be on your feet for at least 10 hours at a time.
• Mobility to work in areas that require kneeling, leaning, crouching, or crawling.
• Capable of working in both extreme weather elements – hot and cold
