Sharpe Engineering & Equipment seeks a Mechanical Systems Designer (Revit/Process Design) to translate concepts into 3D models, layouts, and documentation for food and beverage facilities. Collaborate across design, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure accurate packages from concept through installation.

Requirements include AAS/BA in Mechanical Design or related field and 3–7 years’ experience, with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and ability to read P&IDs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in mechanical design, industrial drafting, or process equipment layout.
• Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or sanitary processing environments is preferred.
• Experience with Revit (required) and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and mechanical layouts.
• Understanding of piping systems, pumps, valves, and industrial equipment layouts.
• Familiarity with fabrication and installation drawing requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and project deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D models of process piping systems, equipment layouts, and facility infrastructure using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Produce construction, fabrication, and installation drawings that support project execution.
• Translate engineering concepts and project requirements into clear, accurate design deliverables.
• Develop piping layouts, equipment arrangements, and utility routing for food processing and packaging systems.
• Work with point clouds in Revit to support accurate modeling of existing facilities and equipment layouts.
• Prepare detailed design drawings including general arrangements, piping layouts, and equipment integration plans.
• Implement design revisions and project markups from engineering and project teams.
• Maintain organized project drawing files and documentation.
• Ensure drawings adhere to internal standards and project documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to ensure designs support constructability and efficient field execution.
