Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive a zero-defect supplier base and scale production. You will identify, qualify, and develop vendors, conduct onsite audits, and lead corrective actions.

You will lead DFM reviews, establish phase gates for new products, develop IQC procedures, and coordinate with internal teams while traveling to suppliers. A Bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/quality or supply chain engineering.
• Knowledge of GD&T, mechanical/thermal engineering, and processes such as CNC/assembly.

Responsibilities

• Define product specs for raw materiel, testing and workmanship with Product Engineering.
• Lead supplier qualification from audits to qualification builds.
• Drive DFM reviews and be the main vendor QA contact.
• Set phase gates for new product introductions (CDR/MRR).
• Develop IQC procedures for assemblies and review supplier docs.
• Lead root cause analysis and disposition decisions with vendors.
