Royal Engineers and Consultants, LLC seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to lead field activities for mechanical trades on data center projects across multiple sites. You will oversee installation, testing, and commissioning coordination, ensuring conformance to drawings and submittals.
The role requires 8+ years in mechanical site supervision, familiarity with HVAC plants, piping, and BIM clash resolution, plus OSHA 30. Travel and relocation may be needed on project needs.
The Mechanical Superintendent directs the installation and coordination of mechanical systems on a data center construction project, including chilled water plants, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, piping distribution, and containment, from rough-in through commissioning support. This role works closely with the mechanical trade partners, the general superintendent, and the commissioning agent to sequence equipment installation and testing within a tightly coordinated mechanical yard and data hall schedule.
This is a field-based position supporting construction projects in North Louisiana, Virginia, and Corpus Christi, Texas. Project assignments and reporting locations will vary based on operational needs. Travel and/or temporary relocation may be required.
Full-time presence on an active construction site, including mechanical yards and data halls during equipment installation and testing. Requires the ability to walk the full site throughout the day, work around piping and rotating equipment, and wear standard personal protective equipment.
