The role requires a BSME/BSAE, 15+ years of relevant experience, PE registration, and proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to deliver innovative and efficient building systems.

Qualifications

• BSME or BSAE degree with relevant experience.
• 15+ years designing HVAC in research, healthcare or higher education facilities.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks preferred.

As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer in our Charlottesville office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

In this role, you will build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners and is responsible for the overall design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. Within your role, you will also develop innovative and unique design solutions to align with project, client and project partner needs and leads the team in implementing solutions.

Expertise of our most successful Senior Mechanical Project Engineer:

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
• 15+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration required.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
