Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer in our Chapel Hill, NC office to drive energy-efficient building solutions and support the design of HVAC systems for research, healthcare, and higher education facilities.

You will lead client relationships and the project team through the complete design process. The ideal candidate has a BSME/BSAE and PE registration, with 15+ years’ experience and proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience)
• Professional engineering registration is preferred/required
• 15+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities

Expertise of our most successful Senior Mechanical Project Engineer:

• BSME/BSAE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience.)
• 15+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, Healthcare or Higher Education facilities.
• Professional engineering registration required.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
