Job summary

INEOS Pigments is offering an apprenticeship in Ashtabula, Ohio. The program trains you on the job (8000 hrs) plus classroom time (576 hrs) to learn maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities. You will handle pumps, valves, piping, welding, machining, insulation, carpentry, and concrete work while maintaining safety and high workmanship standards.

Successful apprentices meet the preregistration requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor program.

Qualifications

• Apprentice will be trained on the job (8000 hrs) and classroom (minimum 576 hrs) to maintain and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair pumps, valves, field piping, and machinery.
• Perform general building maintenance, R stamp welding, some machining, insulation, carpentry, and concrete work as required.
• Adhere to safety regulations and high standards of workmanship; work overtime or shift work when required.
