Job summary

INEOS Pigments is seeking an Apprentice to learn on a formal program at our Ashtabula, Ohio complex. You will receive on-the-job training (8000 hrs) and classroom instruction (576 hrs) to maintain and repair pumps, valves, piping, and related equipment, while upholding strict safety and housekeeping standards.

Expect overtime or shift work as required, and perform duties in accordance with the US DOL apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• Apprentice must meet all elements of the US Department of Labor program approved for INEOS Pigments.
• On-the-job training totals 8000 hrs with classroom 576 hrs.
• Must follow safety regulations and maintain high standards of housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment and machinery such as pumps, valves and field piping.
• Perform general building maintenance, R stamp welding, some machining, insulation and carpentry.
• Assist with planning, concrete work and other duties as assigned to meet standards.
