Job summary

This onsite role combines hands-on lab work, fixture development, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to evaluate performance and verify designs.

You will design test methods, build fixtures, analyze results, and work with electromechanical teams to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Science and 2+ years of test engineering experience.
• Experience developing and executing test methods, test protocols, or verification activities for electromechanical products.
• Experience using laboratory instrumentation, data acquisition systems, or custom test equipment.
• Experience analyzing test data, documenting results, and investigating product, component, or system-level issues.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks for fixture design and development.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test methods, protocols, and procedures for product performance.
• Develop, build, maintain, and troubleshoot test fixtures, benchtop setups, and laboratory equipment used for development and verification testing.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and system-level testing on products and document results.
• Analyze test data, investigate failures, identify performance trends, and communicate findings to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, electrical, software, quality, and manufacturing engineers to support product development and design improvements.
• Support the development of automated and semi-automated test methods, data collection tools, and laboratory processes.
• Create, review, and execute test plans, protocols, reports, and technical documentation.
• Train laboratory personnel and operators on test methods, equipment operation, fixtures, and standard operating procedures.
