Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Mechanical Quality Inspector to safeguard product integrity across IQC, IPQC, and OQC in a heavy manufacturing environment. You will validate incoming components, oversee in-process checks, and authorize final ship release while ensuring strict engineering specs, safety codes, and customer requirements are met.

Your responsibilities include detailed verification of coatings, enclosure integrity, welds, and dimensional tolerances, with emphasis on traceability and CAPA

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in mechanical/electrical quality inspection in heavy manufacturing or modular environments.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, BOMs, and welding symbols to verify conformance.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and relevant codes (AISC/IBC/ASTM) is required.

Responsibilities

• IQC: Inspect incoming materials and sub-assemblies against specs and PO info.
• IPQC: Perform hold-points during fabrication and assembly for alignments.
• OQC: Conduct pre-shipment inspections and ensure traceability before release.
• Document NCRs and support CAPA with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain inspection records, torque logs, and photos for traceability.
• Support compliance and Lean/5S initiatives to improve quality trends.
