Job summary

Deepwater Corrosion Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Quality Control Inspector/Technician to support QA activities in a manufacturing setting.

You will inspect materials, components, and finished products for conformance to drawings, specs, and procedures, and record findings in quality logs. Responsibilities include visual and dimensional inspections, use of calipers and micrometers, documenting non-conformances, and assisting with internal audits and calibration records to help sustain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical diploma or coursework in quality, manufacturing, or engineering preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or quality environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to read measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials and finished products.
• Verify parts and products against drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Use basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Identify and document non-conforming materials or products.
• Assist with basic functional or performance testing as required.
• Accurately record inspection results in quality systems or logs.
• Complete inspection reports and maintain organized quality records.
• Report quality issues to supervisors or quality management.
• Assist in tracking corrective actions and follow-up activities.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
• Support internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining calibration records for inspection tools (as applicable).
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
