Job summary

Nelson Numeric, a Sussek Machine Company, in Bloomington, MN seeks a Mechanical Quality Assurance Inspector for the weekend shift. You will perform in-process and final inspections on aerospace components, read GD&T, and use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMMs. AS9100 experience preferred and strong attention to detail required.

Document results in the ERP system and communicate findings to manufacturing teams. Weekend shift includes a 12% premium and paid lunch break.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Aerospace piece-part mechanical inspection experience.
• Experience with precision inspection methods.
• Prior bench-inspection experience using physical gauges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and audit aerospace products for conformance to requirements.
• Read, interpret, and understand GD&T.
• Use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, height gauges, calipers, bore gauges).
• Perform receiving, in-process, FAI and final inspections.
• Document results and communicate findings to teams.
