Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality assurance or mechanical inspection preferred.
• Proven experience in mechanical inspection or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in GD&T, APQP, AS9100, AS9102, FAI, PPAP, blueprint reading, and AS9100 processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure specifications are met.
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM where required to verify dimensions.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate QA records.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve quality.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and protocols.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in QA.
