Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee nationwide commercial projects from planning through completion. You will ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, safety compliance, and quality across complex programs.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, 5+ years of PM experience in construction, OSHA-30 certification, and strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in project management within engineering or construction.
• OSHA-30 certification.
• Experience with cost control, scheduling, procurement, and change orders.
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate and manage all project resources, including procurement of materials and services.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Manage project budgets, including cost control and change order pricing.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and industry standards.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring OSHA-30 certification requirements are met.
• Handle any issues or crises that arise, demonstrating professionalism and diplomacy in stressful situations.
• Use MS Office and other software systems to effectively manage projects and communicate with team members and stakeholders.
