Mechanical Project Manager

Mechanical Contracting- MEP- Mechanical Construction- Commercial HVAC

An excellent Mechanical Contractor is actively seeking to add a Project Manager to the team. Project work is commercial & industrial focused, NOT residential.

Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial HVAC mechanical projects (both new construction and renovation/retrofit)
• Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
• Devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when need arises.
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
• Maintain adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
• Material procurement
• Material Takeoffs
• Handling close out documents
• Client relations
• Scheduling/coordinating
• Involved with all phases of project from bidding and proposals to punch list
• Experience with estimating, scheduling, submittals, RFI’s, close out documentation, quality control inspections, buyouts a plus

Requirements:

• Three (3) or more years of experience working within a HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, MEP, or Building Automation company with associated project experience
• Strong computer skills with proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) applications.
• BA/BS degree a plus, NOT required
• Strong understanding of HVAC building systems
• HVAC, Sheet Metal, Process Piping project management experience
