Job summary

Advanced Equipment and Services, Inc. (AESINC), a Veyra company, is hiring a Mechanical Project Engineer in Houston, TX. You will move projects from design to fully manufactured systems, coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams throughout the lifecycle.

You’ll develop drawings, BOMs, and documentation; select mechanical components; track schedules; and support FAT, testing, and commissioning for water treatment systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant 3D for 2D/3D drawings.
• Experience with mechanical equipment design and fabrication.
• Ability to prepare engineering docs like BOMs and specs.
• Strong problem-solving and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop GA drawings, P&IDs, piping layouts, and 2D/3D models.
• Prepare BOMs and technical documentation for production.
• Assist with equipment specification and component selection.
• Coordinate with production to maintain specs and schedules.
• Develop timelines and track engineering progress.
• Support FAT, testing, commissioning, and field activities.
