Job summary
Aquatech is seeking a Project Engineer (Pre-Contracts) in Houston to support project management for water treatment projects. The role involves reviewing technical specifications, coordinating engineering activities, and ensuring vendor and RFI processes align with client requirements.
The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering and at least ten years of project-related experience, with strong communication and leadership abilities. Travel is required. Monday–Friday, standard hours apply.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical).
- Ten years of experience in a project-related industry preferred, especially water/wastewater infrastructure.
- Experience reviewing customer technical specifications for water treatment projects.
Responsibilities
- Review customer technical specs for water treatment projects.
- Provide project management support to the PM and team.
- Coordinate engineering activities across offices and external agencies.
- Monitor vendor quotes and ensure compliance with project specs.
- Prepare project documents and 3D model inputs; manage RFIs and submittals.
- Support meetings, progress reporting, and monthly updates.
