Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Greenville, TX team. You will lead the design, layout, and analysis of piping systems across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations while optimizing cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review vendor drawings, provide construction support, and contribute to planning, cost estimation, and risk assessment to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Experience in piping design and engineering in oil & gas, petrochemicals, or power generation preferred, not required.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation) and pipe stress analysis tools (CAESAR II, ANSYS).
• Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, API).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed piping designs, specifications, and layouts using advanced engineering software and tools.
• Conduct stress analysis and flexibility evaluations to ensure the integrity of piping systems under various conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, civil, and electrical engineers, to integrate piping designs with other project components.
• Review and approve vendor drawings and documentation to ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that arise.
• Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessment activities to achieve project milestones on time and within budget.
