Job summary

IEG, a brand of MOREgroup, is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join its MEP team in Spring, Texas. The ideal candidate will have an active PE license in Texas and at least 5-7 years of experience in designing electrical systems. Your role will be pivotal in delivering high-performing projects from concept through to construction.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas is required.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in designing electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the mechanical engineer of record on assigned projects.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to refine design standards.
• Provide quality control (QA/QC) review of construction documents.
• Develop and edit electrical specifications based on project requirements.
• Mentor and develop electrical designers and project managers.

Skills

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas

Revit proficiency

Experience in MEP or AEC industry

Strong communication skills

Experience with Education, Civic, and/or Healthcare projects

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
