Job summary

Yearout Mechanical, a Legence Company, is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as the operational hub for complex HVAC/Plumbing projects. Based onsite in Texas, you’ll partner with Project Managers and field teams to maintain scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety.

Expect involvement in documentation, scheduling, BIM/CADD coordination, vendor management, and client communication. The role requires 3–5 years in commercial construction or 10+ years with no degree, with a background in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in CM or Mechanical Eng. for construction roles.
• Experience with HVAC/Plumbing mechanical projects preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Own RFIs, submittals, and logs; manage doc control.
• Update master schedules; flag risks and adjust plans.
• Support cost control, vendor pricing, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate field activities with QA/QC and safety.
• Coordinate BIM/CADD updates with design partners.
• Procure materials and manage deliveries and vendor relations.
• Prepare for meetings and support subcontractor oversight.
• Assemble O&M manuals and as-builts at closeout.
