Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is seeking a Mechanical Project Designer for our Nashville office to deliver energy-efficient building systems for mission-critical facilities.

You will lead the design process and develop innovative HVAC solutions that meet client needs and codes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients and project partners to drive successful outcomes on high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in HVAC or Architectural Design.
• 10+ years of experience in HVAC design.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of applicable design codes and specification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process and oversee the overall design on assigned projects within the HVAC discipline.
• Develop innovative and compliant design solutions to match project and client needs.
• Lead the team in implementing solutions and coordinate with project partners.

In this role, you will build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners and are responsible for the overall design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline. In this position you will also develop innovative and unique design solutions to align with project, client and project partner needs and leads the team in implementing solutions.

• Associates Degree in HVAC or Architectural Design or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of experience in HVAC design.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD required.
