The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in plastics design (automotive preferred), CNX NX CAD proficiency, and a track record of working without excessive supervision while maintaining high integrity and customer focus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of plastic part design experience, automotive preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NX CAD knowledge is required.
• Experience with plastics design and injection mold construction.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with others.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to drive projects to completion with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple small or large projects on design topics.
• Collaborate with functional groups, suppliers and customers.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support team projects and new product development.
• Model, prototype and build concepts; verify specs and safety standards.
• Maintain strong communication and organizational skills.
• Hands-on shop floor work as needed.
• Represent the company professionally at events and with customers.
• Ensure legal and ethical compliance in the assigned area.
