Zusammenfassung

Lanco is seeking an Associate Product Engineer (Mechanical Engineer I) to design, develop, analyze, test, and document mechanical components and assemblies. You will work under senior engineers to grow technical skills while contributing to product development, sustaining engineering, and cost-reduction initiatives.

The role involves CAD modeling, BOM creation, ECN support, prototype testing, and cross-functional teamwork to deliver validated, compliant designs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
• Internship, co-op, senior design project, or other practical engineering experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist in design and development of mechanical components, systems, and assemblies.
• Create and revise drawings, models, and documentation using CAD software.
• Support ECNs, design releases, and configuration management processes.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses to support design and validation.
• Assist with prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations.
• Participate in product improvement, cost reduction, quality improvement, and standardization initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support development and production activities.
• Develop BOMs and maintain engineering documentation in company systems.
• Support validation and verification activities, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Ensure designs comply with company standards, safety requirements, and engineering specifications.
