Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Biomedical engineering or related field.
• Experience with mechanical design, manufacturing processes, materials, testing or process improvement.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; CAD experience preferred (SolidWorks or Creo).

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design and process improvement for ultrasound transducer R&D, including tooling, fixtures, prototypes and test setups.
• Assist design-build-test activities: create prototypes, execute experiments, collect data and summarize recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines to support product development and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to process robustness, manufacturability, quality improvement, root-cause analysis, and work instructions.
