This role emphasizes continuous improvement, Six Sigma and lean methods, coaching staff, and collaboration with Routine Managers to raise standards, reduce variation, and support annual action plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience in steel manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing methods and heavy mill machinery.
• Experience training, coaching, and facilitating improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain goal and project databases and perform trend analysis.
• Participate in achieving department goals and goal setting.
• Facilitate training sessions on improvement methodologies and policies.
• Develop employee capabilities in continuous improvement tools.
• Collaborate with Routine Managers on standards, audits, 5S, and improvements.
• Identify chronic problems and reduce process variation.
• Prepare CAPEX standards and coordinate improvement projects.
• Oversee daily improvement management activities and safety support.
