A leading project management firm is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Planner in Mobile, Alabama. This role involves developing job plans and managing work orders using SAP to support mechanical maintenance efforts. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, strong communication skills, and familiarity with mechanical systems. The position offers per diem for qualifying employees and opportunities for collaboration with various teams to ensure effective maintenance execution.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of mechanical planning experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with piping systems, rotating equipment, valves, and mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed job plans for mechanical maintenance work.
• Use SAP to manage work orders and task lists.
• Review equipment history data for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with teams to schedule and prioritize work.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Track progress, identify delays, and adjust schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of materials.
• Assist in outage and turnaround planning.
