Job summary

RQ Construction is seeking a Mechanical & Piping Insulator for Kings Bay Naval Base, GA. You will install insulation on piping, ductwork, and equipment, following drawings and codes to ensure quality and safety on active sites.

Eligible candidates typically have 4+ years of commercial insulation experience, a high school diploma or GED, and trade school or apprenticeship training preferred. Government or large-scale federal projects are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of commercial mechanical or piping insulation experience.
• Apprenticeship or trade school training preferred.
• Government, military, or large commercial construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation on piping, ductwork, and mechanical equipment.
• Measure, cut, fit, and secure insulation materials.
• Follow project drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment on active construction sites.
