Job summary

Metal-Tech Partners seeks a hands-on Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer to join our Bruning, Nebraska team. You will lead projects, develop products, model in 3D, and assure quality across operations in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering degree, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), and collaboration abilities to drive innovation and efficiency on the factory floor.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field; associate with experience considered.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD tools and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create 3D models and detailed drawings for manufacturing using CAD tools.
  • Lead engineering projects from concept to production with milestones.
  • Develop and implement quality specs for products and processes.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, quality, and floor personnel for direction.
  • Generate quotes and BOMs based on customer specs.
  • Conduct cost analysis and suggest manufacturability improvements.
  • Support prototyping, testing, and iterative development.
  • Drive continuous improvement for efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain records of designs, tests, and documentation.
