Job summary

ShredSupply, Inc. in Airway Heights, WA, is seeking a skilled automotive/refurbishment technician to inspect, repair and replace worn parts and to assist with heavy equipment disassembly and reassembly.

You’ll perform van body paint prep, basic carpentry and metal fabrication and contribute to electrical wiring tasks after training. The role emphasizes hands-on repair experience, attention to detail and a safety-first mindset, with forklift and hydraulic training provided through the program.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a mechanic trade with automotive repair knowledge.
• Experience with power and air tools and basic fabrication.
• Comfort working at height and on top of van roof systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, or replace worn parts such as bearings and gears.
• Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment and components.
• Paint prep and basic painting of van bodies and chassis.
• Perform basic carpentry and metal fabrication (drilling, cutting, grinding).
• Wire 12V electrical systems after training and test for standard compliance.
• Assemble hydraulics parts and service hydraulic pumps after training.
• Other duties as assigned.
