Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment associated with production, packaging, and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Support specific assets and work on maintenance tasks as needed.
- Work on a range of technology and equipment in a clean, well-lit environment.
- Diagnose and resolve urgent challenges and problems.
- Support team growth and development.
- Help advance manufacturing and respond to customer needs with greater speed and creativity.
Accountabilities
- Perform work safely and report unsafe acts and conditions.
- Assist in correcting unsafe acts and conditions.
- Reinforce safe work behaviors.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency.
- Maintain process equipment and work areas according to standards.
- Participate in task analysis and training.
- Drive continuous improvement activities.
- Develop skills and knowledge about manufacturing processes.
- Learn and apply problem-solving skills.
- Maintain effective relationships with team members.
- Support site needs, including non-day shifts and call-ins.
- Communicate effectively about business issues.
Qualifications
- High School/GED required; 3+ years of skilled mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
- Trade experience in mechanical maintenance, welding, pipefitting, millwright skills.
- Additional skills in machining, hydraulics, pneumatics, vibration analysis are desirable.
- Post-secondary vocational training in Mechanical technology is a plus.
- Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, good math skills.
- Ability to pass pre-employment assessments, drug/bkg screening, and physical abilities test.
Starting Hourly Wage: $32.23 USD
