Job summary

REV Copack is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running efficiently and with minimal downtime at our Pittston, PA facility. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and support the production team to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing/CPG, beverage production preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on production machinery to minimize breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical problems promptly and execute repairs to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to maintain equipment safely and to quality standards.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and report on machine performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Work the 3PM–11PM shift and ensure coverage during peak production hours.

Requirements

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on production machinery to minimize breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical problems promptly and execute repairs to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to maintain equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and report on machine performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Work the assigned shift from 3PM to 11PM, ensuring coverage during peak production hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or CPG environment, preferably beverage production or similar industries.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills, including experience with production machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and safety regulations.
• Dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and handle mechanical parts and equipment as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly.

Compensation

$26.00-$34.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
