Job summary

AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is hiring for a maintenance role in Wisconsin to support production teams. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain production equipment, while supporting new installations and upgrades to maximize uptime and quality.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical and electrical repair skills, knowledge of industrial controls, and experience with automation basics. This full-time position offers night shifts, competitive hourly pay, bonuses, and an on-site wellness

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for rebuilding gears, alignment plates, fixtures and forming equipment.
• Basic low voltage wiring installation and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of three-phase circuits and motor control circuits.
• Basic knowledge of industrial controls (contactors, relays) and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with simple machining and layout tasks.
• Ability to perform various mechanical and light electrical repairs.
• Proficient computer skills for record-keeping and diagnostics.
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Ability to plan and execute projects from small to large scales.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and machine documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools and implement corrective actions.
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and performance data.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and team members.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate with production, engineering, and external partners to resolve equipment issues efficiently.

We are looking for a dedicated and driven team member to provide crucial support for our manufacturing and production team. In this role, you will maintain and improve production equipment by diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting new equipment installations. This position works closely with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to maximize uptime, improve efficiency, and maintain high product quality standards.

Compensation:

$20-$40/hours

*Based on experience

*Yearly bonuses offered

Shifts & Schedule:

• 12 hour night shifts - Can be flexible

Key Responsibilities:
