Responsibilities

• Perform PM tasks such as lubrication and inspection of machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and power transmission components.
• Basic metal fabrication including cutting, grinding, and welding.
• Operate mobile equipment such as Scissors Lifts and Man Lifts.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts with safety as a priority.

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Location: Auburn, NY, United States

Pay Range: Incumbents of the Mechanical Maintenance Technician teammates in this position average annually $90k- $110K. Compensation for this position is $19.89/hr. - $23.03/hr. plus, an additional estimated $29.83/hr. inproduction pay, paid weekly.

Basic Job Functions:

A Mechanical Maintenance Technician will have a working knowledge of basic mechanical principles and possess practical experience as it relates to the mechanical maintenance function. Basic functions will include, but are not limited to:

• PM tasks such as lubricating
• Inspection and monitoring machinery
• Trouble shooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, power transfer mechanism such as coupling, gear boxes, belts and sheaves
• Basic metal fabrication including cutting, grinding, and welding.
• Mobile Equipment including Scissors Lifts and Man Lifts
• Must have the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts

• 2 year Mechancial Degree or 3 year experience in mechancial technician in an industrial/manufacturing setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with industrial hydraulic systems
• Experience with power transmission and machine assembly
• Experience with lubrication and bearing applications
• Leadership or Supervisory Experience
