North American Stainless is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to service the Cold Mill, focusing on mechanical issues and maintenance planning. The role involves inspecting equipment, planning maintenance, and overseeing tasks in the Mechanic's assigned areas, including downtime work and PM/Corrective actions.

The successful candidate will work with the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, supervisors, and outside contractors to schedule and complete maintenance promptly, ensuring spare

Competenze

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of industrial experience or a technical degree in the related field.

Mansioni

• Performs inspections, consults with operations, and reviews downtime reports to stay current on maintenance issues.
• Keeps an up-to-date list of all maintenance issues in the assigned areas.
• Coordinates with Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Group Leader, and outside contractors to schedule and complete work promptly.
• Collaborates on projects and upgrades with engineers, suppliers, and outside companies as needed.
• Ensures spare parts are stocked for assigned areas and coordinates with manufacturers or suppliers.
• Performs Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Action work orders on downtime or running equipment.
• Completes work orders and passes information to the rest of the mechanical maintenance team.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and participates in housekeeping tasks.
