Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions, headquartered in Austin, TX with operations in Kermit and Monahans, TX, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Planner. You will lead efforts to improve efficiency, quality, and safety of mechanical equipment and processes through SOP/SWP standardization and systematic maintenance planning.

This role requires planning and project management across multiple sites, coordination with vendors, and strong communication skills to align with facilities and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Chemical Engineering or related education.
• Minimum 2 years of planning experience with CapEx projects, Maintenance, Planning, Equipment/Process design or Manufacturing.
• Project management experience; able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication; ability to work with vendors, customers and employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and Projects.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, maintain and standardize SOPs and SWPs.
• Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority.
• Coordinate all aspects of projects with contractors, equipment manufacturers, and internal support.
• Manage spare parts and align maintenance with stock room.
• Lead and contribute to maintenance and plant projects.
• Support troubleshooting of process equipment issues with qualified personnel.
• Manage multiple projects across sites while respecting budgets and timelines.
• Assist in equipment purchase/project planning for future replacements or capacity increases.
• Participate in meetings and resolve project issues with facilities and business units.
• Ensure effective engineering and client communications considering supply chain impacts.
