General Motors is seeking a Mechanical Journeyperson Pipefitter to support our advanced manufacturing operations in Kansas City, KS. You will install, repair and maintain industrial piping, valves and pumps to keep GM’s automotive and EV production running safely.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and P&IDs, performing welding and fabrication, troubleshooting issues and completing preventive maintenance while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a safety-focused environment.

Formación

• Experience reading blueprints and P&IDs.
• Ability to weld and fabricate as needed.
• Strong preventive maintenance skills.

Responsabilidades

• Install, repair and maintain industrial piping, valves and pumps to support manufacturing operations.
• Interpret blueprints and P&IDs to determine installation requirements.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as part of piping systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Complete preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure reliability.
